Charlotte, NC – August 14, 2018—Today, PointGuard announced the addition of the Performance Impact Report to its Analytics platform and service. This new report gives facility and property managers an easy and comprehensive way to show owners and stakeholders the many positive impacts to ROI from using Performance Analytics on their commercial building.

Available to all current and future customers of PointGuard's Performance Analytics, the Performance Impact Report summarizes key metrics for energy, comfort and equipment since the analytics service began. These metrics include estimated rent value impacts, space impacted, equipment value impacts, energy use impact and runtime reduction.

The report also provides the Data-Verified Performance Impact, based on closed and verified recommendations provided by PointGuard. This section contains the dollar amount saved through decreased energy usage, and the amount of area and number of assets impacted. Similarly, the report highlights the recommendations that are still open, and their Untapped Performance Impact, including the dollar amount of energy savings the building could achieve by implementing the open recommendations.

“Decision makers are not always the ones using the technology themselves,” said Shannon Smith, CEO of PointGuard. “By supplying this Performance Impact Report, asset and property managers, as well as the C-Suite, can quickly and easily present a summary of the ROI, as well as potential ROI, resulting from our service.”

Beyond the summary pages, there is a unique page for each of PointGuard's three main KPIs: comfort, asset health and energy. Each page includes a sampling of the most impactful action items as they correspond to each KPI. In addition, the Comfort Impact Analysis provides a chart of the year’s progress and the impacted rent value. The Asset Health Impact Analysis also shows the progress over time, with the amount of equipment and square footage impacted. Lastly, the Energy Impact Analytics conveys the change in ENERGY STAR score, green house gas emissions impact and the energy cost impact over time.

“Many stakeholders do not have the time to dig into the details but need to understand the value of analytics in an easy to read and digestible format,” said Derek McGarry, Head Building Performance Engineer, PointGuard. “That is exactly what this Impact Report delivers to our customers.”

PointGuard's Performance Analytics offers specific and actionable monthly recommendations to maximize occupant comfort and performance of equipment, resulting in greater energy efficiency and energy savings. This service provides customers with access to additional insight and information, including information on the health of the property’s assets, the buildings ENERGY STAR score and the tenants’ comfort level on a zone by zone level.
